Homework due dates

How about if we all hand in HW#7 and #8 on Thursday? That way you can all get credit for the work you have done? Would that make people happy? (Or is it too late for that now (: )

    I couldn't do the quiz today (5 minutes late), but I had homework #7 finished.
    I checked the blog last on Sunday night before today, so a little earlier heads up on the quiz and homework #8 would have been nice.
    In this sense, people have been punished directly for showing up late (understandable), and indirectly for finishing homework on time for those who didn't think checking the blog on Monday was necessary.
    What would make me VERY happy, would be set due dates on homework assignments. I don't know about everyone else, but I'm unable to spend time every day on the blog.
    Is there any way we can make up the quiz?

    Why don't you make it extra credit? Then they will all be extra happy.
